Duties: • Conducting EHAT (explosive hazardous Awareness Training) for UPDF troops over 600+ and responding to UXO’s and IED threats. • Conducted instructional courses for AMISOM Troops in EOD|IEDD • Lead instructor for Route Search Teams due for deployment in Somalia and Congo • Mentoring EOD|IEDD teams in clearing IED’s in Main Supply Routes • Conduct trainings for ACOTA PSO-TC Singo Uganda. • Conduct and oversee Bulk Demolitions in the FOB’s • Oversee the demolition of UXO’s during operations • Reporting incidences to UNMAS Fusion Cell Sector 1 • Conduct refresher trainings to EOD and Route Search to keep them aware on the safety requirements and Operating Procedures for approaching the devices during tasks.
