Search Mentor

Duties: - Recently deployed to Djibouti to train incoming HILL 9 Battalion Search and Detect teams - Train and mentor daily AMISOM Route Search Teams, in Sector HQ and FOBs. - This includes mentoring during search activities at strategic points like airstrips, check points and main gates. - Train and mentor troop in charge of the main check points and gate to search vehicle, personnel and baggage entering the military and UN premises. - Deliver in country and Pre-deployment EHAT (Explosive Hazard Awareness Training to AMISOM troops as well as AUPOL and FPU. - Deliver Search and detect course to combat engineers to increase mobility of the units.

EOD trainer and Mentor

Duties: - Delivering of CIED, EOD and EOLIDIS course to AMISOM troops across Somalia. From February to April 2017 - (Sector 5: Jowhar). Training and mentoring Burundian Soldiers and mentoring EOD-IEDD teams on IEDD tasks and convoy support missions. Since April 2017 until now deployed in Sector 4 (Beletweyne FHQ) Training on CIED, EOD to Djiboutian and Ethiopian soldiers - Frequently deployed on FOB (Jalalaqsi, Bule Burte, Halgen and Maxxas), to train and support AMISOM troops in these locations. Training delivered both in French and English.

Search and Detect instructor and mentor

Duties: From April 2016 to February 2017: G4S Mali – Search and Detect instructor and mentor (MINUSMA) Delivering of IED awareness to MINUSMA TCC, Search and Detect course to search platoons in various locations: Gao, Timbuktu, Tessalit, Kidal, Menaka and Douentza. 3 days C-IED course to FAMA in Bambara in Timbuktu
