Job Description
DAG sometimes recruits Explosive Detection Dog (EDD) Trainers to provide services globally as part of our services, and our recruitment team would be happy to receive and review your application.
Please see below for more information about the main duties and responsibilities of a qualified and experienced EDD Trainer:
The EDD Trainer will report to the Project Manager directly on all operational, kenneling and training issues, and will be responsible for the training of EDD Handlers and K9’s to high standards.
The EDD Trainer will ensure that DAG EDD teams are able to perform their assigned EDD duties safely and effectively, and in line with DAG standard operating procedures.
The EDD Trainer will also manage the creation and delivery of relevant training materials and courses, and will make sure that all training activities are properly monitored and evaluated.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
EDD Certified and experienced (minimum 2 years)
EDD Trainer certified
2 years experience in providing and conducting EDD training.
Previous experience in a leadership role.
